Though CCI is now organized around its three associated projects -- the Equitable Development Data Insight Training (EDDIT), the Urban Displacement Project (UDP), and the California ADU project -- CCI has in the past also led other major projects, including:
Planning for Jobs
Planning for Jobs illustrates the importance of planning for jobs at a regional scale. It presents the findings from the Industrial Land and Jobs Study for the San Francisco Bay Area, which analyzes the demand for and supply of industrially zoned land in the nine-county region, both now and in the future
Planning for Sustainable Regions
Planning for Sustainable Regions is a research initiative highlighting faculty and graduate student research efforts related to regional planning. One of our major research efforts was to understand the impacts of HUD’s Sustainable Communities Initiative (SCI) regional planning grants.
In the past, CCI has also published research on the following topic areas:
- Developing with diversity
- Revitalizing neighborhoods
- Designing and programming for the public realm
- Developing economic resilience
- Producing and preserving affordable housing
